Frederic Leighton was a 19th-century British painter and sculptor. He created numerous large-scale works of historical, literary, and mythological paintings, establishing the British academic art style. This collection features approximately 40 color plates and numerous monochrome illustrations, covering most of his representative works. He was awarded a baronetcy the day before his sudden death, and is therefore known as "Lord Leighton."
The cover is in good condition, but unfortunately, there is a light stain on the back cover.
