This bag was mine as a child. Purchased at the Gucci flagship store in Rome, Italy, in the late 1970s. One owner.
By Gucci, made in Italy. Small crossbody bag made of Gucci's signature GG coated canvas with brown pigskin leather trim and thin leather strap. Envelope style. Gold GG logo at the outer flap closure, inner snap, lined in brown pigskin leather. The strap attaches with two gold buckles at the back (length has two adjustments).
Measures 6.25 x 5 inches. Maximum strap drop is 18.5 inches.
The gold metal GG shows wear/color loss. One of the buckles needs to be reattached to the bag (the leather strap to do so is included). There was an old attempt at a repair using a safety pin. All leather is in great shape, canvas shows no cracks or stains. My home is smoke free. Comes to you packed carefully in a box.
